I got into editing a while ago, hadn't touched it for a while now, but there is still major development on GZdoom and GZdoombuilder, especially for features like Dynamic lights/OPENGL/3d floors and slopes. Yet I remember playing Wolf and Doom as a kid on a windows 3.1/DOS machine. It's now over 20 years old since December 2013, feels like a long time.
